Notice on the Online Reporting for Foreigner's Employment
Beginning January 2, 2026, the Ministry of Justice will expand the "Online Reporting System for Foreigners’ Employment Information,” enabling foreign nationals engaged in for-profit activities to submit their employment information online.
Visa statuses subject to the reporting requirement:
- Intra-Company Transferee (D-7)
- Corporate Investor (D-8)
- International Trade Management (D-9)
- Professor (E-1)
- Foreign Language Instructor (E-2)
- Research (E-3)
- Technical Instructor (E-4)
- Professional (E-5)
- Arts and Performance (E-6)
- Special Occupation (E-7)
- Seasonal Work (E-8)
- Non-Professional Employment (E-9)
- Maritime Crew (E-10)
- Resident (F-2)
- Overseas Korean (F-4)
- Marriage Migrant (F-6)
- Work and Visit (H-2)
If any of the reported information changes (including changes to occupation, industry, or annual income bracket), an Employment Information Change Report must be filed within 15 days of the change.
Foreign nationals may file or update their employment information through the HiKorea “e-Application” service using their personal account, in addition to visiting the immigration office in person.
